Shawn Burt has worked in Social Services throughout the Twin Cities for about 13 years with a focus on homelessness, housing and hunger. Shawn is currently attending Metropolitan State University and hope to graduate with a BSW.  Outside of work, Shawn has lived in Minneapolis for much of their adult life.  She lives with her partner and two of 6 kids from their blended family.  In her free time, she likes listening to podcasts, practicing Spanish by singing karaoke and second hand shopping.  She relish her trips to Mexico, where they stay with family and friends.  She enjoyslearning the ins and outs of the country and the general vibe.
