Dental
The Dental Department is committed to providing high-quality, non-judgmental dental care to our community. It is comprised of a dentists, dental hygienists, experienced dental assistants, and fourth-year dental students. We all work together to provide compassionate dental care and a good experience for our relatives at NACC Dental.
The Dental Department works in conjunction with the University of Minnesota as a clinical training site for students in their final year of dental training to expand their experiences and identify students who may have a desire to spend their careers practicing in public health care settings. This clinical training provides an invaluable mechanism to train students and further expand access to dental services.
NACC offers a full scope of dental services and walk-in emergency dental services. Our comprehensive services include, but are not limited to:
Exams
Cleanings and deep cleanings
Fillings
Extractions
Root canals
Complete dentures
Partial dentures
Pediatric Dental Services
If you are interested in a service we do not provide, we can evaluate your needs and refer you to a dental clinic/specialist to meet those needs.
NACC Dental Policies:
Late policy: Patients will be designated as no-shows if they are present 20 minutes after check-in time. Your check-in time is on your appointment reminder sheet. If you are going to be late, please call our front desk and let them know your estimated arrival time so we can better prepare for your appointment.
Accompanying relatives and/or children: Adult patients are allowed one (1) accompanying relative with them in the dental operatory. For patients who are minors, one (1) guardian is allowed in the room. Please arrange for childcare for siblings of minor patients. Guardians or parents must accompany minor patients for the duration of their appointments if it involves a dental procedure.
Confidential information policy: NACC will not share adult patient information with patient’s relatives unless a consent form has been signed by the patient giving NACC permission
