SHANNON FAHEY
INFORMATION OFFICER

Shannon Fahey currently holds the position of Information Officer at the Native American Community Clinic in Minneapolis, MN.  She previously held positions at NACC as a Diabetes Program Manager and Registered Dietitian. Her employment started in 2008 as a registered dietitian and her role has continued to advance and expand to meet clinic needs.

In her current role as the CIO, Shannon is responsible for clinical quality improvement, electronic health record administration, grant writing, and overseeing the health promotion and health information management departments. Shannon completed certifications in health information technology for healthcare professionals from the University of Minnesota and as a certified diabetes educator through the NCBDE.  She received a graduate degree at University of Wisconsin-Stout, dietetic internship and graduate coursework at Saint Louis University and undergraduate degree at the College of St. Benedict.
