Harm reduction
People who use drugs face stigma and discrimination. This creates shame and stops people from reaching out for help when they need it. NACC supports community members who use drugs and desires to support their health and safety while using by offering respectful, nonjudgmental healthcare.
Harm reduction services are available to community members through a number of ways:
Outreach Events
Mondays, 1:00 pm – 3:30 pm, at NACC behind the building.
Includes HIV/HCV testing and distribution of safer use supplies.
Screening
Screening and follow-up for infectious disease such as HIV, hepatitis C and STIs (sexually transmitted infections)
Other Services
Supportive services through medical care, behavioral healthcare, and outreach services.
Services on this page are supported by state and local funds.
