Donovan Williams, MD

Dr. Donovan Williams is a Navajo physician, who grew up in northern Arizona on and off the Navajo reservation. He is currently a Primary Care Internist and a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Minnesota since 2022. His residency training was in Phoenix, AZ. He does spend part of his time at the Indian Health Service (IHS) at Rosebud, SD and soon also at the IHS in White Earth, MN. Prior to going to Minnesota he has practiced as a Traditional Medicine provider in Bismarck, ND for 2 years, as a Hospitalist in Soux Falls, SD for 3 years, a Complex care provider for 2 years in Eagan, MN and now at a clinic affiliated with the University of Minnesota. He loves to fish. His wife Valerie Norris, MD who also is a physician taking care of kiddos as a Pediatrician at the Native American Community Clinic in Minneapolis. They enjoy time with their three dogs living in the Twin Cities of Minnesota.
