Clinical Director of Behavioral health

Alissa Eischens, MA, LICSW has been Clinical Director of Behavioral Health since 2022.   She completed a master’s degree in social work at the University of Chicago in 2012 and a master’s degree in public health at the University of Minnesota in 2003.  Prior to working at NACC, she worked in community mental health settings in Chicago and Minneapolis, including as a therapist at NACC from 2014-2018.  She has also worked for a major university in Chicago, a large health system in the Twin Cities, in managed care, and in private practice.  Alissa supervises clinical staff at NACC, providing supervision for therapists and interns in training as well as case management staff.  She also provides therapy services at NACC with a focus on trauma; she offers EMDR and Brainspotting in addition to other evidence-based modalities.
