Technical Difficulties
What’s going on with NACC’s computer systems?
Our IT partner is currently investigating an IT security incident with the support of third-party cybersecurity and forensic experts from Charles River Associates. In response to the cybersecurity incident, our IT partner took protective measures to isolate and contain the threat, and protect and fortify our environment, with a focus on safeguarding your information. Those actions included taking a number of their data centers offline, which has impacted our operations as well. Their team is working around the clock, 24-7 to respond to the incident and restore services.
How long it will be until normal service returns?
Our IT partner is working around the clock with leading cybersecurity and restoration experts to get us back online as quickly and safely as possible. Together with cybersecurity experts, they are running tools and scans to detect, isolate, and clean-up any affected environments. They have also engaged additional resources – specialists in post-incident recovery – which will be dedicated to the restoration process. Unfortunately at this time, they do not have a confirmed timeline for system restoration, but we are getting regular updates from them and hope to have a timeline from them soon. We will communicate to you as we have more information.
