All Staff Updates this Week

  • Frontline Worker Pay

  • Mask Reminder: All staff and patients are required to wear masks when in the clinic or at any programming hosted by NACC

  • Updated Phone Directory in General Teams Files. Please contact Johanna if any information is missing or needs to be edited



Behavioral Health

  • BH is accepting clients for the waitlist again for therapy. Please have clients call BH to be added if they’re not being referred by a NACC medical provider.

  • There is no longer a dedicated zoom room in the behavioral health clinic, zoom is available by appointment.

  • BH has 2 half hour same day appointments each day with rotating providers throughout the week. Same day appointments operate on a first come first served basis and may be in person or virtual depending on the day. These must be scheduled by BH.

  • To schedule elder/spiritual care: call Rachael at the BH front desk OR enter a request in referral tracker for BH to follow up with clients

  • All groups are via telehealth

  • Behavioral Health Home referrals (for patients who need long term behavioral health supports) Should be placed through orders. Please call Shawn at 612-843-6837 when making these referrals.

  • Tending to our hearts and souls - Tuesdays from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm - Christine

  • Diabetes Management Group - Thursdays from 9:00 am-10:30 am – with Deb D. Please send referrals to Jessica Thurin.


Dental

  • Dental open normal hours.

  • Eastside clinic in St. Paul takes walk-ins 8:30-3 M-F for emergencies


Outreach

  • HIV Testing Event in Hinterland every Monday from 11 am -2 pm

      • Syringe exchange, HCV testing, COVID vaccines, & HEP A vaccines available as well as vouchers for further screening in clinic

      • Drop off spring/summer gear (rain jackets, rain boots, sweaters, etc.) in DT during the next few Monday’s testing hours

  • Outreach at 5th & Lake encampment every Wednesday providing HIV & HCV testing along with other services with partnering orgs

      • Offering $25 Linkage to Care voucher to bring back to clinic to seek any type of service (See Nikki or Tina for gift cards)

  • Outreach at Avivo Village every other Thursday afternoon from 2pm-4pm (NOT THIS WEEK)

  • Street outreach every Thursday at Scooterville/Franklin Ave encampments

  • Outreach/ Linkage to Care support during The Aliveness Project’s Friday pop-up’s on 26th & 16th street from 10-1pm


Patient advocates + Transportation

  • Transportation:

    • PTO: Ashley will out on PTO Monday May 16th-Friday May 20th. Please contact patient advocates for transportation assistance

    • Erin and Cally are out Thursday and Friday.

  • Email Scams: Review 8 ways to detect Phishing

    • NEVER CLICK ON LINKS FROM an email unless you have checked and confirmed with the sender that the link is legit. Text me if you have a question.

    • Never send any information or patient data to anyone without confirming both the email name and the email address the message was sent from.
