  • Laurie in Behavioral Health for maintaining a positive presence.  Your ready humor, sympathetic ear, and can-do attitude are appreciated more than you know. 

  • Matt for taking on the role of rooming so fast and efficiently! It has been a major help and he is doing very well.

  • Felicia for overseeing the MN Vaccines For Children Program at NACC and a successful site visit with MDH last week! Way to go!

  • The hard work of the outreach, grant and OB team for the huge success of the Baby Shower over the weekend!

    Risk Management

  • Trivia Time (Congrats to Shawn M. for winning!) : Starting on 2/28/22 (image of a bird) there have been seven animals featured on the staff updates page. Email Ashlee to guess what those animals represent. First person to guess correctly will receive a gift card to Pow Wow Grounds!

Behavioral Health

  • There is no longer a dedicated zoom room in the behavioral health clinic, zoom is available by appointment.

  • BH is no longer accepting new patients or adding people to our waitlist for ongoing therapy. They will update this status once they get through the current waitlist.

  • BH has 2 half hour same day appointments each day with rotating providers throughout the week. Same day appointments operate on a first come first served basis and may be in person or virtual depending on the day. These must be scheduled by BH.

  • To schedule elder/spiritual care: call Rachael at the BH front desk!

  • All groups are via telehealth

  • Behavioral Health Home referrals (for patients who need long term behavioral health supports) Should be placed through orders. Please call Shawn at 612-843-6837 when making these referrals.

  • Tending to our hearts and souls - Tuesdays from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm - Christine

  • Diabetes Management Group - Thursdays from 9:00 am-10:30 am – with Deb D. Please send referrals to Jessica Thurin.

Dental

  • Dental open normal hours.

  • Eastside clinic in St. Paul takes walk-ins 8:30-3 M-F for emergencies

Outreach

  • HIV Testing Event in Hinterland every Monday from 11 am -2 pm

      • Syringe exchange, HCV testing, COVID vaccines, & HEP A vaccines available as well as vouchers for further screening in clinic

      • Drop off spring/summer gear (rain jackets, rain boots, sweaters, etc.) in DT during the next few Monday’s testing hours

  • Outreach at 5th & Lake encampment every Wednesday providing HIV & HCV testing along with other services with partnering orgs

      • Offering $25 Linkage to Care voucher to bring back to clinic to seek any type of service (See Nikki or Tina for gift cards)

  • Outreach at Avivo Village every other Thursday afternoon from 2pm-4pm (NOT THIS WEEK)

  • Street outreach every Thursday at Scooterville/Franklin Ave encampments

  • Outreach/ Linkage to Care support during The Aliveness Project’s Friday pop-up’s on 26th & 16th street from 10-1pm

Patient advocates + Transportation

  • Paige Olson will be out 4/11

  • Cally will be out on 4/13

  • The patient advocate team is now in the DT space. The team will rotate having one advocate in Medical every day of the week. The advocate in Medical will see walk-ins and be the first line for immediate patient needs.

  • Incident tracker : Log workplace events/ issues in the incident tracker-

  • Employee Suggestion Box

  • Email Encryption is now available.

    • Click the “encrypt” button.

    • Send a test to yourself to confirm functionality

  • Email Scams: Please be aware that there are sophisticated email scams going around in which scammers make it look like they are sending an email from Dr Stately (or another member of the NACC team) Here are some tips:

    • NEVER CLICK ON LINKS FROM an email unless you have checked and confirmed with the sender that the link is legit. Text me if you have a question.

    • Never send any information or patient data to anyone without confirming both the email name and the email address the message was sent from.
