  • Shout out to the Nurses!  For going above and beyond!  For taking up the slack, leaning into their jobs and taking on more job duties as needed.  You are the backbone of our healthcare system.  You exhibit flexibility, humility, courage, tolerance and compassion, which are qualities that make nurses stand out in times of crisis and everyday!

All Staff Updates this week

  • Morning Huddle: Every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. We will not have morning huddles on Wednesday/Friday mornings.

  • Fit Testing 3/1: starting at 8am - Open to all. Send me an email if you want to participate.

  • We are looking for patients to participate in our vaccination hesitancy ads. Click here for more information

Risk Management Updates:

  • Reminder about bathroom lights: If door is locked and motion light is off - knock on the door to check - notify staff in the area if there is no response

  • No patients allowed in the breakroom with or without staff.



Behavioral Health

  • Genevieve Lane is BH program manager— she can be reached at 5915

  • Rachael White manages the Registration Coordination station for appointments.  

  • BH appt zoom room is in BH clinic- please send patients to suite 103 in the Ancient Trader’s building if they need a zoom connection

  • BH is no longer accepting new patients or adding people to our waitlist for ongoing therapy. They will update this status once they get through the current waitlist.

  • BH has limited in person appointments, with rotating providers in each day. The majority of individual appointments.

  • All groups are via telehealth

  • BH is no longer offering ADHD testing services.

  • Behavioral Health Home referrals (for patients who need long term behavioral health supports) Should be placed through orders. Please call Shawn at 612-843-6837 when making these referrals.

  • Tending to our hearts and souls - Tuesdays from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm - Christine

  • Diabetes Management Group - Thursdays from 9:00 am-10:30 am – with Deb D. Please send referrals to Jessica Thurin.


Dental

  • Dental open normal hours.

  • Eastside clinic in St. Paul takes walk-ins 8:30-3 M-F for emergencies


Outreach

  • HIV Testing Event in Hinterland every Monday from 11 am -2 pm

      • Syringe exchange, HCV testing, COVID vaccines, & HEP A vaccines available as well as vouchers for further screening in clinic

      • Drop off winter gear (coats, boots, scarves, etc.) in DT during the next few Monday’s testing hours 11-2 for winter gear drive. Flyer available for accepted items.

  • Outreach at 5th & Lake encampment every Wednesday providing HIV & HCV testing along with other services with partnering orgs

      • Offering $25 Linkage to Care voucher to bring back to clinic to seek any type of service (See Nikki or Tina for gift cards)

  • Outreach at Avivo Village every other Thursday afternoon from 2pm-4pm (NOT THIS WEEK)

  • Street outreach every Thursday at Scooterville/Franklin Ave encampments

  • Outreach/ Linkage to Care support during The Aliveness Project’s Friday pop-up’s on 26th & 16th street from 10-1pm

  • Uber Health pilot coming soon to dosing

Risk Management: Area of Focus

  • Incident tracker : Log workplace events/ issues in the incident tracker-

  • Email Encryption is now available.

    • Click the “encrypt” button.

    • Send a test to yourself to confirm functionality

  • Email Scams: Please be aware that there are sophisticated email scams going around in which scammers make it look like they are sending an email from Dr Stately (or another member of the NACC team) Here are some tips:

    • NEVER CLICK ON LINKS FROM an email unless you have checked and confirmed with the sender that the link is legit. Text me if you have a question.

    • Never send any information or patient data to anyone without confirming both the email name and the email address the message was sent from.
