!!Staff Shoutouts!!

  • Kassi for 11 years at NACC!

  • Greg Croucher for his work in keeping the clinic running smoothly, for the coordination of the dollar tree construction, and all other operations within the clinic! He’s been so important, always ready to fix things as soon as he hears about it and takes initiative to remedy issues before we even need to ask him.

  • Erin and Cally for being super awesome and helping Ashley set up medical cabs for patients when she is out on rides.

  • Medical staff for all their hard work in keeping the clinic moving along during this challenging time. Extra special shout out to the MA, Nursing, and Registration teams!!

  • Referral bonus reminder - $250 for referred staff that stick around for 90 days

  • COVID testing available to staff daily- see Felicia or Stacy with questions

Behavioral Health

  • BH Telehealth plan in effect, please see G with questions.

  • Genevieve Lane is BH program manager— she can be reached at 5981.

  • BH appt zoom room is in BH clinic- please send patients to suite 103 in the Ancient Trader’s building if they need a zoom connection

  • BH registration is scheduling appointments - call BH front desk at 612-843-5981 to see if any same days are available

  • BH has limited in person appointments, with rotating providers in each day. The majority of individual appointments and all groups continue to be on telehealth

  • Behavioral Health Home referrals (for patients who need long term behavioral health supports) Should be placed through orders. Please call Shawn at 612-843-6837 when making these referrals.

  • Tim and Todd have expanded availability for ADHD testing. Please place referral for NACC ADHD Testing in orders and ask patients to complete ADHD forms at our website: https://nacc-healthcare.org/forms

Dental

  • Dental open normal hours.

  • Eastside clinic in St. Paul takes walk-ins 8:30-3 M-F for emergencies

Outreach

  • HIV Testing Event in Hinterland every Monday from 11 am -2 pm

      • Syringe exchange, HCV testing, COVID vaccines, & HEP A vaccines available as well as vouchers for further screening in clinic

      • Drop off winter gear (coats, boots, scarves, etc.) in DT during the next few Monday’s testing hours 11-2 for winter gear drive. Flyer available for accepted items.

  • Diabetes Group: Every Thursday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Contact Jessica T. with any questions.

  • Outreach at 5th & Lake encampment every Wednesday providing HIV & HCV testing along with other services with partnering orgs

      • Offering $25 Linkage to Care voucher to bring back to clinic to seek any type of service (See Nikki or Tina for gift cards)

  • Outreach at Avivo Village every other Thursday afternoon from 2pm-4pm (NOT THIS WEEK)

  • Street outreach every Thursday at Scooterville/Franklin Ave encampments

  • Outreach/ Linkage to Care support during The Aliveness Project’s Friday pop-up’s on 26th & 16th street from 10-1pm

Patient advocates + Transportation

  • Update (1/20/22): On Thursdays, Ashley will be leaving for the day at 3:30pm. The first half of the day (8am-12:45pm), Ashley will be doing rides to and from the clinic. The 2nd half (1:45pm-3:00pm), she will be doing rides from the clinic only as well as setting up any med rides for that day and for future dates

Risk Management: Area of Focus

  • Email Encryption is now available.

    • Click the “encrypt” button.

    • Send a test to yourself to confirm functionality

  • Email Scams: Please be aware that there are sophisticated email scams going around in which scammers make it look like they are sending an email from Dr Stately (or another member of the NACC team) Here are some tips:

    • NEVER CLICK ON LINKS FROM an email unless you have checked and confirmed with the sender that the link is legit. Text me if you have a question.

    • Never send any information or patient data to anyone without confirming both the email name and the email address the message was sent from.

  • New OD prevention lights for bathrooms

  • Log workplace events/ issues in the incident tracker-
