Tara McCullough is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She received her Doctorate in Nursing Practice and Bachelors of Science in Nursing from the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN. She completed her doctoral degree in May of 2018. While completing her degree she worked as a registered nurse at the University of MN in adult blood and marrow transplant and at the Women’s Health Specialist’s clinic for 5 years. Tara enjoys working with families and individuals throughout the lifespan. Her nursing program focused on holistic approaches to care; emphasizing mind, body, and spirit connectedness in the path to health. Her favorite part about being a nurse practitioner is being able to assist patients in reaching their highest quality of life while also focusing on preventative care. Tara also works within our medication assisted treatment (MAT) program; working with patients who are seeking treatment for opiate substance use disorder. She resides in Minneapolis and when not at work she enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her dog.
